How will the viewers take the last days of Billy Miller and Michael Muhney

How will the viewers take the last days of Billy Miller and Michael Muhney.

Starting today the final days of Michael Muhney and Billy Miller are here and one wonders how their fans will take the storyline sending them off.

We know that Billy finds out the truth about Adam being the driver in Delia’s accident.

We know Billy is out for revenge, he has a gun and is very dangerous.

Adam has made his peace(a touching moment with Conner) and is ready to confess. Will Adam be able to explain before Billy explodes?

This story is very important to Michael Muhney fans, who felt he has been wrongfully fired and want to see Adam vindicated, if not Michael.

Billy Miller fans are watching his phenomenal performance and knowing he will be replaced in just days.

Both Michael and Billy are two of the best actors in soaps and the loss of them both is very hard on the fans and most probably for the soap also.

Y&R has lost Ms Jeanne Cooper, a great loss and also Michelle Stafford who are both missed daily. Now Michael and Billy, and Hartley Sawyer has been let go as Jack’s son Kyle. Many changes and with the new regime still making changes Y&R viewers have no idea what is next.

Goodbye Michael, Billy and Hartley. We hate to see you go!

Days renewed through 2016

With Days Of Our Lives being renewed through the 2015-2016 television season, and heir 50th anniversary on the horizon we can remember fondly the first days in Salem in 1965. McDonald Carey and Francis Reid as Dr and Mrs Tom Horton led the soap in the right direction with faith and a good moral family. Those principles remain today in their granddaughter Jennifer and  Julie with the Brady family of the same background  they still carry the tradition of family, faith and love to the viewers who have supported them for all of these years.

Ken Corday, the executive producer of DAYS said of the renewal, “We are thrilled to continue being a part of the NBC family and to have the support of our incredible network and studio executives who work tirelessly to allow us to continue telling our stories and share the DAYS legacy with our devoted family of fans.”

NBC executives responded:

Jennifer Salke, President, NBC Entertainment said in an official statement on the renewal:  “Days of our Lives continues to be a fan favorite for the daytime audience and we are thrilled to keep it going through its 50th season. DAYS has shown year-to-year increases in key female demographics and remains both relevant and fresh creatively due to the hard work of the producers, writers, cast and crew who have worked tirelessly to make DAYS the ratings success it is today.

Steve Kent, Senior EVP, Programming at Sony Pictures Television offered up this statement: “Having won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Daytime Drama, Days of our Lives continues to deliver on its legacy of quality storytelling. We appreciate NBC’s continued support and are excited to celebrate the show’s 50th anniversary with our generations of dedicated fans.”

Days can be seen weekdays on NBC at 1 p.m./est

Allison Sweeney tells Ellen DeGeneres she is leaving Days

Today on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Alison Sweeney will announce that she will be exiting the role of Sami Brady.

Allison Sweeney has been a member of the DAYS cast since January 1993. After 21 years of loving many men, lying to all of them and blackmailing and killing some of them she will be leaving them all behind. “I decided that it’s going to be my last year with the show,” Sweeney said to a shocked he studio audience.

As the star of Days and The Biggest Loser she has not had enough time with her family and wants more time with them now.

“I’ve been on Days of our Lives since I was 16 years old and I have never had more than a two-week vacation in that whole time. I mean, it’s so awesome. I love Sami, I love Salem, I love my job, I love daytime, I love the fans, I love everything about it,” Sweeney added. “I’ve worked so much and my daughter just turned five and my son is nine and I just want to be with them and enjoy my last year”

A departure date has not been set

“I’m going to be on DAYS all this year. We don’t have a specific time yet, but I’m going to be on all this year and we’ll see what happens,” Sweeney explained.

How would she like it to end?

“It would be awesome to have some kind of happy ending,” Sweeney offered, before noting that her character has also caused a lot of problems for other Salem residents. “She probably deserves some sort of very twisted, like Breaking Bad ending.”

Kimberly McCullough who returned to General Hospital after making in and out appearances over two years is going to be out again. Fans have wondered whether she was truly back or just visiting, are intelligent and savvy and were waiting for this story. She acknowledged her departure at the ABC TCA party, Once again her career as a director comes first.

She gave a warning her fans and Scrub fans will not be pleased with the way Robin exits. Read more from DC. Then please comment on how you feel about this in and out role of Robin Drake.

Daytime Confidential: It’s no longer a secret. You are going to be departing General Hospital at least temporarily sometime soon. Was your return always scheduled to be short term?
Kimberly McCullough: Yeah. It was always supposed to be this amount of time.
DC: Should fans be concerned that they’ll never see Robin again, or will she always be a part of the show?
KM: I certainly hope so! I guess it just depends on how much[executive producer] Frank [Valentini] liked working with me.
DC: GH’s ratings have risen since your return. How does it feel knowing that you have energized the fanbase?
KM: I don’t give myself that credit. The only thing I can say is I’m happy for the show and if I was a part of that at all, I’m so grateful.
DC: Have you filmed your final episode for this go around?
KM: No. I’ve got a couple weeks left.
DC: Is it going to be tough saying goodbye again?
KM: Of course! It always is. But it’s not goodbye. It’s just see you later.
DC: Can you give us a hint about how Robin will be leaving?
KM: Robin’s leaving because of her love for another character that is not Patrick on the canvas.
DC: There were a lot of rumors that you were coming back to give Scrubs a happy ending, but you have just quashed them.
KM: They’re not ready to let Jason Thompson go. So the happy ending is that [fans] still get to see Jason Thompson.
DC: Will Scrubs fans feel a sense of closure when Robin leaves?
KM: I don’t even know if I can comment on that. They’re going to be pissed. Really. They’re going to be pissed. I’m sorry.
DC: No one’s going to be mad at you.
KM: Oh, yes they will.”

Yes, they will and with good reason. The fans constantly support Robin because she is a beloved character, but is it fair to keep coming back and messing up lives and then leaving. Maybe Robin should be recast. What do you think?

Twitter used to stop the negativity over Michael Muhney and Hunter Haley King

January 8, 2014
Michael Muhney, former Adam Newman of Young and the Restless, has finally taken to twitter to tell his fans “ “Benjamin Franklin said it best, ‘Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see.’… and that quote doesn’t only apply to what is being said about ME. It also applies to others. Please be kind to everyone. #respect“.

Whatever this actually means, and many fans will interpret this differently, it is time to let the blaming and name calling end. Michael may never be rehired and those of you asking for his return should do so in a respectful manner. It is fine to want him back, but laying the blame on Hunter King is the wrong way to go. She may also be an innocent victim in this drama that is playing out and should be left alone. There could be other malevolent factors going on at Y&R, so leave the name calling and vitriol out of your request.

In that vein, co-stars of Hunter King are asking all of us to act as Brandon, @DaysAddict, tweeted, “Can all my soap followers do me a favor and send some love and support to @hunterHaleyKing? Thanks!”

To which actors responded “Jessica Collins ‏@JessicaCollins7 Jan
“Yes Brandon. #Kindness RT @DaysAddict
Can all my soap followers do me a favor and send some love & support to @HunterHaleyKing? Thanks! #YR”

“Eileen Davidson ‏@eileen_davidson7h
@YRInsider @YR_CBS 2 u who r bashing @HunterHaleyKing. Shes amazing, brave & courageous. She deserves 2 b applauded & repsected. THE END

Christian Le Blanc ‏@CJLeBlanc13h
“My father always used to say, “Don’t raise your voice. Improve your argument.” – Desmond Tutu #YR

Joshua Morrow ‏@JoshuaMorrowYR11h
Some people better lighten up on @HunterHaleyKing Shes a great kid & doesn’t deserve any1 sayin anything negative about her #Ridiculous

Greg Rikaart (Kevin) responded to this unfair tweet about Hunter: “@TraceySproul: @HunterHaleyKing isn’t she the whore that got MM fired?” Be very careful, lady. That’s someone’s kid ur talking about.” The Emmy winning actor again responded to this as well! “@TraceySproul: if you can show me Greg, reports were made from the incidents, I will apologize.” Greg responded with “Not my business any more than it is yours.”

Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe) added her support for people to stop the cruel comments on her castmate Hunter King by re-tweeting Morrow’s tweet and her co-stars Greg Rikaart’s tweet.

Christel Khalil (Lily) response to the original tweet in support of Hunter responded this way: “@DaysAddict: Can all my soap followers do me a favor and send some love and support to @HunterHaleyKing? Thanks! #YR” LOVE U HUNTER!

So tweets go on and everyone asks the fans to stop the negativity towards Hunter and let this terrible battle end. We will soon see who the real culprit was and there are more than two in that equation. Enjoy Y&R and let the rest play out as it should. Eventually all of the truth will come out, so wait until that happens and keep watching the number one soap.
