New York’s only soap One Life to Live, recap 12/30

Friday’s episode of One Life To Live began:

At La Boulaie where Blair shows the painting Tomas painted of her. Blair complains about being soft with men. He tells her she was not always soft, she was not a victim. Blair wrecks the painting and asks Todd to spend New Year’s with her. James and Starr watch the “Jailbait” video and James cannot believe she is staying with Rick as manager. He warns her not to trust him, but does not want to hold her back from her career. Todd shows up in a tux and Blair lights a candle and burns a note that says “Trusting the wrong man. Todd then burns a “Killing Victor, framing Tomas” note. He kisses Blair and Blair kisses him.

Roxy comes to the Buchanan mansion and cannot believe Gigi is real. She checks her out for scars and Rex tells her the DNA proved she is truly Gigi. Gigi says how sorry she is about ‘Fraternity Row’ being cancelled which convinces Roxy she is Gigi. Bo arrives and Gigi hugs him as Roxy drags her out to get ready for her wedding. Bo helps Rex get ready.

Natalie calls John and invites him to the wedding. Madame Delfina arrives to tell John “pure evil will rock Llanview”. She felt it when the lights flickered. John says it was just a brownout. “You will be in the eye of the storm” she tells John and “Be prepared for the worst”.

Viki and Clint are getting Llanfair ready for the wedding and Clint remarks about having the heart of a maniac. Viki says the heart is just a muscle and his goodness is what gives him his heart. Nora arrives and tells them Matthew is with David and Dorian. Nora tells Gigi she looks beautiful for a dead woman. Delfina is marrying them and Rex stands with Shane. Gigi comes in looking beautiful in her gown. Rex and Gigi say their vows and and Rex swears to treasure their family forever. Both in tears Gigi thanks him for bringing her back to life. She will always love him and their family. The light the candle and Rex and Gigi are husband and wife. When everyone is ready for the countdown the lights go out. John is called into the station. Natalie is alone and sees someone in the dark. She screams.

At the Buchanan mansion Rex asks Delfina how he got messages from Gigi while she was in a coma. She tells them the universe wanted them together. Delfina leaves and hopes John is ready for what’s coming. Inside Gigi and Rex dance in the glow of candlelight.

Bo is ready to toast his family , but Nora feels sick and goes to bed. When she awakens Bo is not there and she sees someone in the dark. She screams.

John tells Bo there was a breakout at Statesville. Bo asks who is on the list?

At La Boulaie Starr answers the door and says “It’s you”.

Cutter calls Kim to tell her Stacy is dead and it is Gigi who is alive. Kim is all alone now but cutter says she still has him. he then asks Kim to bust him out of jail. he tells her about Alex and wants to scam her with Kim.

Gigi taunts Jack asking if he is seeing a ghost. She then promises to “kick his scrawny ass” the way she started that night. Tea tells Gigi to back off , they argue but Tea says she is happy she is alright. Is Jack happy? Gigi wonders. Shane takes her out of the office where John is outside his office talking to Natalie. “Hi guys.It’s me” Gigi greets them. Natalie is delighted and she and John hug her. When John leaves them alone Gigi remarks how much lighter John seems. Gigi then tells her about John being Liam’s father. Natalie says she knows and Gigi wonders why they are not together. “Life is too short”. When Tea and Jack celebrate John comes in and bursts their bubble but Tea says he cannot charge Jack because Stacy interrupted the events.  John still wants to make Jack pay for what he did to Gigi. Tea wants him to work on Todd’s case.  jack comes out and says he is glad she is alive and is sorry. “Tell that to my sister” Gigi tells him. Natalie and John start to talk when once again John is called away, but they will spend the New Year together.

Todd and Blair go back to La Boulaie where Todd is sure Neela followed Rex’s orders.When Blair goes to see Sam Todd realizes Tea knows he killed victor. He throws a glass dish and Blair tells him Jack needs a father who believes in him thinking he is upset about Jack. He says he wishes Jack did not hate him. Blair tells him “You stand behind Jack and I will stand behind you.” Tea and Jack walk in and hear Todd wants to fire her. Tea tells them Gigi is alive. “He’s n ot a murderer.” Todd says. “It makes one of you”. Tea says

Rex tells Aubrey about Gigi and she thinks he is still in a dream world. She understands and tells him to go to his family. When Rex leaves she cries.

Clint is ranting to Viki about Jack but Viki stands by her nephew and brother.They flirt and declare their love for each other and seal it with a kiss. Viki speaks of Gigi who was like a sister to her. She deserves justice. Just then Shane walks in and Gigi follows behind slowly ” I didn’t want to give you a heart attack” she tells them. “Is it really you ? Viki asks and she and Gigi embrace and cry. Clint cannot believe he has Stacy’s heart. “She was not using it anyway” Shane quips. Gigi tells Viki she can always count on her and thanks her for taking care of her boys.  Over dessert Viki recounts how The Gigi morasco Special won when Rex comes in. Rex tells Gigi he does not have a ring but he gets down on one knee and begins to propose to Gigi as Clint gives him his mother’s ring. Gigi accepts. xoxo

Shane cannot believe that it is really his “Mommy”, but Rex and Gigi explain the truth to him. Gigi asks Shane if he can see  with his long hair, so like MOM. “My heart remembered you when my brain couldn’t” Gigi tells Shane. Shane realizes Jack is innocent of killing Gigi and he explains how he is in jail for it because of his plan with Neela. They decide to go to the jail to see John and tells him about Jack. Rex tells Gigi bout Aubrey and she makes him call her to let her know about Gigi.”Your it for me now and forever” Rex tells her. She sends Rex to tell Aubrey while she and Shane go to the precinct.

Rama tells Aubrey about Neela exposing Jack. Aubrey defends Shane for his talking Neela into helping him.

Rick tells Starr he owns her and he will not let her out of the contract. She is too valuable as is her families notoriety. He shows her the video which shows a grown up Starr.

Tea  and John confront Todd about trying to get Jack off with violence. Tea tells it was Neela who made the tape. Tea is aggressive towards Todd who does not understand why she is so angry with him.Tea tells them Jack could go to jail for life. Blair cries he is just a boy…..Tea sends Todd and Blair for a walk. Neela visits Jack and she tells him she taped him. He becomes violent and tells her to get away from him for good. Rama runs into Neela in the park and Neela cries about Jack. Todd finds her there and confronts her about taping Jack. Tea needs to talk with Jack. She talks to John about Todd when they bring Jack in. She tells Jack she will try to keep him out of prison and he tells her about Neela. There is a knock on John’s office door and Shane walks in with Gigi behind him. Jack looks shocked…

‘The Bay’, Chapter 7 Part 3.

 In Chapter 7 Part 3, we resume with Marly and Lianna arguing over Peter, who takes off.  Lex wants everyone to calm down and for Lianna to leave. She says she will leave, but she will prove to everyone who her father is. Tony wants to know what this is all about?

Sara sees Peter and tells him how handsome he looks and that she loves him. He wants to know why she claimed Claire had committed suicide? He walks away not happy with her explanation..

Tony arrives and tells Brian he is there for him, but he is stepping down to let Peter take his place as Best Man.

Lex asks Sara if she is okay? She tells him her children are not talking to her again.                          

Mrs. Madison, the Mayor’s wife’s daughter arrives and takes a seat.

Dr Campbell arrives with his son Will and Mrs. Madison takes them to their seats

Meanwhile, Igor is in Zoey’s room telling her about Brian. He wants to open her eyes and does when he shows her pictures of Brian with the kidnapped, tied up Isabella……

The next episode will be the Season finale and though I cannot wait to see it I want this to go on without end. It is that great.
