General Hospital’s uncertain future means that the soap’s fans can use some news to excite and cause ‘dancing in the streets’. For once I am happy to bring good news.
Rick Springfield the legendary ‘Rock Star’ will reprise his role as Dr. Noah Drake beginning in March. He’s back in Port Charles to see his son Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) and his other son Dr Matt Hunter(Jason Cook). This surely has a lot to do with Robin Drake’s(Kimberly McCullough) leaving the show.
Mr. Springfield will return to the set in February. He has returned before after his original stay in the 80’s, he returned in 2005. He then left in 2008 because of his characters addiction to alcohol. This visit is supposed to be for a few days but who knows when the sexy Doc returns he could be needed at GH.
Also returning are Tristan Rogers(Robert Scorpio) and Finola Hughes (Anna Devane Scorpio Lavery Scorpio). . Ms Hughes began taping last week for a mid-February return and the sexy Aussie just tweeted he is back on set.
